Over 2000 Serbian Pupils Got Presents from RZD International for St. Sava's Day
On January 29, representatives of RZD International branch office in Serbia visited "23 October" school in Sremski Karlovci and congratulated teachers and pupils on St. Sava's Day widely celebrated in the country.

The pupils received boxes with sweets from the Russian company. Moreover, the "sweet" congratulations were delivered to other sponsored schools “Vasa Zivkovic” (Pancevo), “23 October” (Golubinci) and “J.J.Zmaj” (Vranje), renovated by RZD International in the period from 2014 to 2016. More than 2 thousand children and teens received presents. This is the fourth time that the Company arranges such event, dedicated to St. Sava's Day.

In 2018, RZD International rehabilitated the Russian language classroom in "23 October" school and fitted it with modern furniture, smartboard and study books, under the humanitarian program of the Company.

First deputy director of RZD International branch office in Serbia Mansurbek Sultanov: "Being the Russian company that has been working in Serbia for many years, we're not just timely and competently carrying out construction of the modern high-speed railways, we also contribute to support and development of the ties between the people of our countries. We're glad to congratulate our youngest friends upon this marvelous family celebration – St. Sava's Day – and wish them wellness and success in their studies".

RZD International is carrying out extensive humanitarian programme in terms of the project on constructing and upgrading Serbian railway infrastructure. Its crucial parts, in particular, are providing support for the educational establishments of the country in each area where the construction works are underway, and carrying out activities aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Serbia and Russia.

Since 2014, the Company has renovated schools in Pancevo, Golubinci, Vranje and Sremski Karlovci.
In addition, RZD International annually runs creativity contests under the project "The Train of Wishes" for the Serbian pupils aged at 8 to 19.
