Have a Train Trip over the Russian Railways in Kalemegdan Park in Belgrade
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia Zorana Mihajlovic opened the photography exhibition "Railways, Faces, Horizons", arranged by the Russian company "RZD International". Management of the railway companies of the country and other honorable guests also attended the event.

The exhibition will be held in one of the oldest and the most beautiful places of Belgrade – in Kalemegdan Park, from 15 until 28 of January 2019. The images of Russian and Serbian photographers will tell the visitors about the activities of the Russian Railways Holding – one of the largest railway companies in the world – and show the significant beauty and scope of the steel routes of Russia, not only from the passengers’ but also from the railway specialists’ side.

For reference:

RZD International has been carrying out modernization and construction of the Serbian railways on behalf of the Russian Railways Holding since 2014. To date, the Company has completed reconstruction of the Belgrade – Pancevo and Resnik – Valjevo sections. It has also reconstructed railway infrastructure within the Pan-European Transport Corridor X development project and carried out construction of railway tracks on the Jejelev bridge. Also, 27 Russian-made Diesel Multiple Unit trains (DMU) were delivered to Serbia. Now RZD International is constructing unique to Serbia facilities – the viaduct in the floodplain of the Danube River and the Chortanovci tunnel, – and reconstructing the Stara Pazova – Novi Sad section for the train speed of 200 km/h.

“RZD International” LLC also carries out extensive humanitarian program in Serbia. In terms of this program the Company supports schools in each region where construction works are underway, organizes contests for children and other social projects aimed at strengthening friendly relations between Serbia and Russia. In 2015 RZD International arranged photography exhibition "Train of the Great Victory", dedicated to the 70-th anniversary of the Defeat of fascism. Another photo-exhibition called "Railways that Unite Us" was held in 2016; it was dedicated to 100-th anniversary since completion the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway.
